FG Funnels Updates – August 10th, 2022

Here are our release notes for FG Funnels from August 4th-10th, 2022.

Calendars Enhancement

  • Users can now be assigned a team calendar from under the team management section. Previously, we were only allowing users to select an unassigned calendar from this section, now we’ve also added support for team calendars. The user needs to be part of the given team calendar for the calendar to be selectable in this dropdown.
  • Once the calendar is selected under this modal for the respective user, the custom value {{user.calendar_link}}  will start populating the team calendar link wherever it is used.
  • This team calendar link will be different from the regular team calendar link, and the appointments getting booked on this link will always get assigned to the given user.
  • This is convenient for users who wish to make sure that leads/customers always get booked with the same user with whom they were previously booked.

Attribution Enhancement

  • Majority of our customers used to say that they would like to know the attribution interaction even if the user(contact) has visited the site and has not taken any action. When they visit again through retargeting ad or reference from a friend filled the form/survey/chat, HL used to only show the actions like form submitted.
  • How was it before?
    • If User A visited the URL abc.com via Facebook Ad or any other source and didn’t fill the form or survey or chat or call etc, HL never stored the details of attribution as the contact didn’t take an action.
  • What did we change?
    • We changed our attribution first interaction which impacts Activity in Contact and Source Report- Session Activity.
    • For example,
      • If User A visited the URL abc.com via Facebook Ad or any other source and didn’t fill the form or survey or chat or call etc, HL will store the details but it will not show on the Contact page.
      • When User A visits again and fills the form, HL will create the contact with interactions as follow
        • A first Attribution is a page visited with Paid Social (Facebook ad)
        • A second Attribution is a form submitted with direct traffic or referral.
