CRM – API

Custom Fields Validation

• Previously, we did not have any solid validation for Custom Fields on the Contacts API.
• Locations were storing wrong values into Custom Fields for contacts using our OAuth 2.0 APIs.
  • Eg: Storing an array of strings in a Text or Multi-line Text type of custom field
• We have added validations on the Contacts Create, Update and Insert API to throw an error when someone tries to store wrong/invalid values in a custom field
• We have currently added validations for the following types of custom fields:
  • TEXT
  • LARGE_TEXT
  • NUMERICAL
  • MONETORY
  • FLOAT
  • DATE
• We will be slowly adding more validations for other types of custom fields

Funnels And Websites

Internationalization

• We have introduced multi-language support to our funnels and websites, allowing users to access them in their preferred language. This feature enhances usability and provides a better overall experience for users who speak languages other than English.
• What’s New:
  • Users can select their preferred language from a list of available languages.
  • The list page will display all text elements in the selected language, including buttons, labels, modals and error messages.
  • Internationalisation support for multiple languages:

• New Behaviour:
  • Users can now interact with the funnels and websites list page in their preferred language, making it easier for non-native English speakers to use them effectively. This feature enhances usability and provides a better overall experience for users.

Social Planner

Instagram Story Post Composer

• Social Planner now supports direct posting to Instagram Story. We might be amongst first few in Social media space to provide direct posting of Instagram Story.
• How to Create Instagram Story?
  • Go to Marketing > Social Planner > Create Post
  • The user has to select Instagram Professional Account.
    • Note – They can select multiple Instagram professional accounts.
    • Note – The user can’t select other social media platforms, if they select other social accounts the story option will not be visible.
  • Select the Media from image or video.
    • User can select media for image 10MB or video 100MB.
    • User can add maximum 10 images/video
  • Once the media is added for Instagram Story, the user can schedule or send for approval the Instagram story.

Funnel/Website Builder

Option To Remove Or Include ‘nofollow’ In Hyperlinks

• What was the previous behaviour?
  • When a text is converted to a hyperlink, nofollow was included in the rel attribute of hyperlinks
• What’s changed?
  • Users can now choose to not include  nofollow by unchecking the checkbox in the hyperlink dialog
  • In funnel the checkbox is enabled by default, whereas in website is disabled by default.
• Note: This feature is available only in New Funnel Builder (which can be enabled under Settings -> Labs)

Email Builder

Inline Editing

• What You See Is What You Get” (WYSIWYG) editing is a common feature of inline editors.
  • Styling with Heading 1, Heading 2, Heading 3, Heading 4, Heading 5 and Paragraphs.
  • Fonts supported – Around 18 fonts are supported and we will provide support for custom fonts for google in coming times.
  • Range of font sizes – 8px-96px
  • Text color and text highlight option – hex code addition is supported for color selection.
  • Bold, Italic, Underline and Strikethrough
  • Adding link to the word for redirection and alignment of text
  • Line spacing of text for paragraph is 1.5 and heading 1.25.
  • Bullet list options – addition of ordered and unordered list
  • Text formatting will allow copy and paste from other sources and it will remove the styling on clicking text formatting
  • Custom values support
  • Content AI to generate content faster with AI assistance
  • Padding for default is updated to Top 12, Bottom 12, Left 24 and Right 24.
• Where to get this new email builder?
  • Toggle on the Brand New Email Builder under Labs in the account (Settings -> Labs )
• When is the beta launch going live?
  • In 3 weeks (June 16th) or sooner

Calendars

Enhanced Calendar Creation

• We have upgraded the way Calendars are created in FG Funnels. With this release, we have created a way for our users to easily create a Calendar in 30 seconds using the Basic Setup, where a user can create a calendar by simply entering the Name, Calendar URL and Meeting location details in the Basic flow.
• We also have created an advanced setup flow, where users would continue to have the same options as before, however in a much cleaner and more user friendly manner.
• A few more changes have been incorporated with this release
  • Added Quick Tips on the Advanced Calendar Settings page (showing tips to users)
  • Renamed Unassigned to Simple Calendars (as this was causing confusion to the users)
  • Introduced a new Success modal, which appears after the Calendar creation is done, so that users can easily copy the calendar widget url or the embed code.
  • Improved tooltips for users with more user friendly explanation
