Social Planner – Instagram Reels

About the Release

Short-form video is the most engaging content type, and it has the highest ROI compared to any other content format. Businesses are using Instagram Reels to educate, inform, inspire, showcase company culture, and entertain.

Why Use Instagram Reels?

  • Increased visibility: Instagram Reels provide an opportunity for users to reach a wider audience. When you create a Reel, it has the potential to be featured on the Explore page, where people who don’t follow you can discover your content. This exposure can help individuals, influencers, and businesses gain more visibility and attract new followers.
  • Creative expression: Reels offer a platform for users to showcase their creativity and talent. With various editing tools, effects, filters, and audio options, people can experiment and create engaging, visually appealing short videos.
  • Discoverability: Instagram Reels’ algorithm is designed to show users content based on their interests, preferences, and engagement patterns. This means that if you consistently create engaging Reels, there’s a higher chance of your content being recommended to users who are likely to enjoy it. This can help individuals and brands increase their reach and attract more followers.
  • Business promotion: Reels also provide an opportunity for businesses to humanize their brand and connect with their audience on a more personal level.
  • Bite-sized content consumption: In today’s fast-paced digital environment, short-form content is popular due to its quick and easily consumable nature. Users can scroll through Reels quickly, making it a convenient way to discover and engage with content.

Email Updates

2 – way sync for Gmail (V2)

  • Two-Way Sync feature will allow users to sync all their emails with a contact between FG Funnels and Gmail.
  • Outgoing emails sent will be reflected in users’ Gmail Sent folder,  and vice versa maintaining a complete record of the correspondence.
  • Existing contacts:
    • Incoming emails to users’ Gmail account from any existing contact (who is assigned to the user) will be automatically imported into your account.
    • This ensures that users have all their messages in one centralized location.
  • New Contacts:
    • Users can now import new contacts while sending mail from Gmail using ‘Auto BCC Sync’ option
    • ‘Auto BCC Sync’ is available for users under the settings > my profile section. It is unique to each user email and location.
    • Users can add this ‘Auto BCC Sync’ option to the cc or bcc field while sending an email from Gmail to create a new contact and add the conversation.
    • Real-Time Updates:
      • Our Two-Way Sync operates in real time, ensuring that changes made in one platform are promptly reflected in the other.
    • Enhanced Collaboration:
  • By enabling Two-Way Sync with Gmail, users can collaborate more effectively with colleagues, clients, and partners who rely on Gmail as their primary communication and productivity tool.
  • Easy Setup and Configuration:
    • Users can set up the Two-Way Sync with Gmail in a very simple process through settings / MyProfile
  • Limitations
    • Currently only the primary email of a contact is used to sync emails between Gmail and FG Funnels. Inbound Emails sent from a Contact’s additional/secondary email to users will reflect in FGF, but Outbound emails sent from a user to contact’s additional/secondary email won’t be synced in FGF.
    • In case there are multiple contacts in to recipients while sending an email from a user’s Gmail, the conversation will be populated only for the first to recipient if it’s a contact already. Adding auto bcc address in cc/bcc field from User’s gmail will add the first to recipient as a contact on the respective location.
    • In case a location allows duplicate contacts, the conversation will be populated on the first created contact.

New Features

Collective Booking for Calendars

  • Key Feature
    • Collective Event Types: Experience the power of collective event types, enabling attendees to arrange meetings with multiple team members simultaneously. Whether it’s a dynamic sales call, seamless technical support session, or insightful interviews, you can now connect with the right people in a single session.
  • Use Case:
    • Ideal for scheduling but not limited to:
      • Embark on a dynamic sales call, engaging an account executive and an SDR simultaneously.
      • Dive into a seamless technical support call, where a customer support rep and an engineer join forces to tackle any challenge.
      • Seize the opportunity for insightful interviews, connecting with a recruiter and a hiring manager in a single session.
  • More Details:
    • Create Collective Booking Calendar: We’ve streamlined the process of creating a collective booking calendar. Simply navigate to Calendars ➝ Calendar Settings, click on “Create Calendar,” and select “Collective Booking.” Provide the necessary details such as calendar name, team members, custom URL, and meeting location to set up your Collective Calendar effortlessly.
    • Primary Owner: The introduction of a primary owner in collective booking allows for better coordination and accountability. The primary owner leads the appointment, serves as the appointment owner, and may be assigned contacts if contact assignment is enabled. By default, the first team member added to the collective booking becomes the primary owner.
    • Change Primary Owner: We understand that team dynamics can change, so we’ve made it easy to change the primary owner. In the Advanced Settings/Edit Calendar ➝ Meeting Details, you can now select the desired team member and assign them as the primary owner for improved flexibility and management.
    • Notifications: Streamlined notifications ensure effective communication among team members. Whenever an appointment is booked by a contact, all team members will receive notifications. The appointment notification content remains consistent, ensuring everyone is kept up to date with the latest information.
    • Payments: Seamlessly integrated payment functionality enhances the booking experience. If payments are enabled for the calendar, users are required to make payment first. Once the payment is confirmed, the appointment will be successfully booked, providing a smooth and secure process for both users and customers.

Enhanced User Interface for Credit Card and Google Pay/Apple Pay Payments on Order forms

  • We have revamped the user interface while making payments on order forms using Stripe. This includes a major change of automatically displaying Google Pay and Apple Pay without the need for an additional click on the Other tab
  • The element to capture credit card details is further enhanced which feels more secure and standard for the leads, thus driving more conversions for your business
  • The Other payment tab will no longer exist on order forms, Google Pay will be shown by default for the lead/contact if the browser and geography conditions are fulfilled.
  • Businesses would require to turn the toggle on the Integrations page on Stripe Connect for an additional requirement of registering domains for displaying Apple Pay.
  • This change also eliminates the additional invoice cost with Stripe for processing one-time payments on order forms. We have moved our architecture to payment intents which will not bear any additional cost for the business
  • Another major improvement is the time taken for processing payment. We have reduced the time taken for processing order form payment by approximately 25% with these changes
  • This release solves some crucial pain points like displaying Google Pay/Apple Pay more prominently while making payment on the order form, transactions being created in the pending state when the user clicked on the Other payment option, and SaaS accounts getting created in the paused state because of the Other payments tab. This friction while making the payment no longer exist
  • If Google Pay/Apple Pay is not available, only the credit card option will be shown.
