Affiliate Manager

  • Importing contacts to the Affiliate Manager
    • The affiliate admin will now be able to sync contacts from their CRM to the Affiliate Manager. The affiliate admin can:
      • Import all contacts to the Affiliate Manager
      • Search for specific contacts and import them
      • Filter the contacts by tags and import them
    • Contacts can be imported by going to the Affiliates -> Add -> Import from contacts
    • Only contacts with unique email-ids will be imported to the Affiliate Manager. If two contacts have the same email-id, only the first one will be imported.
    • There are two states an affiliate can be in: Active or Inactive.
    • By default, when an affiliate is created, they are considered active. The affiliate admin can mark affiliates as Inactive either one by one by clicking the ‘Status’ icon or in bulk by selecting the checkbox and ‘Mark as Inactive’ button.
    • When an affiliate is in the inactive state, they can not be added to a campaign and if there are already added to a campaign, their affiliate links will be non-functional.

Email Builder

  • A/B Test Email Campaigns are now live
    • We have improved the user experience of the Email Builder with the option to run A/B Test Email Campaigns, allowing our users to run tests on Subject Lines or Content in the Email.
    • What’s an A/B test campaign? An A/B test campaign (or split test campaign) allows you to test two different variations of an email marketing campaign with a set of your recipient list. The “winning” or most successful variation of your campaign will be sent to the rest of your audience to help improve your statistics.
    • Marketing > Emails > Campaigns
      • 1. To use this feature, go into the editor of the specific Email Campaign you want to split test on, click the A/B Testing tab in the left menu, and then enable the toggle of A/B Test.
      • 2. You will choose the type of split test
        • Email Subject – Optimize for open rate
        • Content – Optimize for click rate
      • 3. Next, you’ll choose the test duration to run the variation of A/B test to reach the winning criteria. Test time can be from 30 minutes to 24 hours.
      • 4. Then you’ll choose the number of variations – You can choose up to 6 variations.
      • 5. Next, you’ll use the slider to decide what percentage of contacts will receive different variations.
        • Note – A minimum of 10 contacts are needed for each variation.
      • 6. Finally, choose the winning criteria – setting the winning metric based on open rate or click rate.
        • Note: During the duration that is set, if there were no results for click or open rate as chosen, by default the first variation will be sent out as winning variation.
      • After setting up the delivery details on the Send and Schedule screen, you can test the different variations or preview them out. Once the email campaign is successfully delivered, you can get an in-depth analysis of the email report and statistics.
