April 22, 2026
POSTED IN BLOGS › FG Funnels Release Notes

Welcome to your weekly roundup of FG Funnels updates through the week of April 23rd, 2026.

From drag-and-drop workflow nodes to AI agents with full conversation memory, this week’s updates bring some seriously powerful tools to your stack. We’re also rolling out upgrades to Calendars, Courses, E-Commerce Stores, Online Listings, Workflows, WordPress, and more — all designed to save you time and give your clients a better experience.

If you have any questions about these updates, email us at [email protected] or reach out through live chat inside the app — we’re always happy to help.

Calendars

Fairer Round Robin Scheduling

Round Robin just got a whole lot smarter. FG Funnels now tracks bookings monthly and automatically routes new appointments to whoever has the fewest that month. If someone gets too far ahead, their availability is temporarily hidden until the rest of the team catches up.

How It Works:

  • This logic applies only when “Any Available Staff” is selected
  • If a specific team member is chosen, the booking will go through regardless of distribution
  • When a booking is made:
    • The system checks how many appointments each team member has in that month
    • The least-booked member is prioritized
    • If there’s a tie, the system uses the predefined team order
    • If the selected member is unavailable, the system moves to the next eligible member

Monthly Distribution Logic

  • Distribution is evaluated within the same month as the booking
  • No team member can be more than 3 appointments ahead of another
  • If this limit is exceeded, their availability is temporarily hidden and it is restored once others catch up

Best practice: Disable “Allow Staff Selection” if you want true equal distribution. Adding or removing a team member will reset the count.

Control Image Visibility on Your Booking Page

Want a cleaner, text-first booking experience? You can now toggle service images on or off from your booking page settings. When images are off, the layout adjusts automatically — giving your service names, descriptions, prices, and durations more room to breathe.

How It Works:

  • Go to Services > Global settings > Booking Page
  • Select whether you want the booking page with images or without images
  • This setting applies across all services

Smarter Conditional Logic in Calendar Booking Forms

Forms inside booking flows now support the full range of conditional logic — including disqualifying leads before an appointment is ever created. No more unwanted bookings slipping through.

How It Works:

  • When a user fills out a form during booking:
    • Show/Hide field logic dynamically adjusts fields based on user input.
    • The system evaluates Disqualify lead conditions first.
  • If the lead is disqualified:
    • No appointment is created
    • No payment is collected
    • The configured redirect page or custom message is shown
  • If the booking is successful:
    • You can choose the confirmation page experience under Confirmation Page settings:
      • Default
      • Redirect URL
      • Use custom form rules
  • When Use custom form rules is selected:
    • The form’s redirect or custom message is shown after booking
    • If none is configured, it falls back to the default confirmation page

Auto-Navigation to Missing Fields During Calendar Setup

If you’ve ever clicked “Save” on a calendar and gotten… nothing — this one’s for you. FG Funnels now scrolls directly to any missing required field and highlights it. If the issue is on a different tab, it takes you there automatically.

How It Works:

  • When you click “Save changes” and there are validation errors:
  • If the error is in the current tab, the page scrolls directly to it and highlights the error.
  • If the error is in a different tab, the system navigates to that tab and highlights the error.

Flexible Service Discovery from Service & Category Links

You now control how much browsing freedom customers have. A new toggle in Global Settings > Booking Page Settings lets you decide whether customers can explore your full services list — or stay focused on just the service or category they started from.

Great for businesses that want to encourage upsells, and equally great for those who prefer a tight, guided booking flow.

How It Works:

  • Go to Global Settings > Booking Page Settings
  • Toggle “Allow customers to explore other services” to let customers navigate to the full services list and book any service, regardless of their starting point

Assigned User Custom Values in Funnels & Confirmation Pages

After a contact books an appointment, you can now use assigned user custom values on the next funnel step and in the confirmation page thank-you message. Personalization after booking just got a lot more seamless.

How It Works:

  • When using a Calendar element in a funnel with the “Redirect action” set as “Go to next step”
  • After booking, users are redirected to the next funnel step
  • You can now use assigned user custom values on that page
  • This value also work in:
    • “Thank you message” on the calendar confirmation page
    • This values dynamically populate based on the assigned user linked to the contact, ensuring accurate and consistent output across flows.

Calendar Permissions Now Enforced on Mobile

If you’ve already set up granular calendar permissions on web, those same rules now apply on mobile. A read-only team member stays read-only on their phone — no gaps between devices.

To configure: Settings > My Staff > Edit > Roles & Permissions > Calendar

    Available on app version 4.11.0.812.

Smarter End Date Selection for Rentals

When a customer picks a start date in a future month, the end date picker now opens in that same month automatically. No more scrolling forward just to finish the date selection. Small tweak, real difference.

    E-Commerce Stores

Store Elements Are Easier to Find in the Builder

Store elements now surface at the top of the Add Elements panel whenever a store exists in your sub-account. If no store is connected yet, they sit neatly between the Blog and Media sections. Either way — no more hunting.

    How to access It?

    • Open the Store Builder.
    • Click on “Add Elements” from the left panel.
    • If a store exists in your sub-account:
      • You will find Store Elements ranked at the top of the panel.
    • If no store exists:
      • Store Elements will appear between Blog and Media sections.
    • Drag and drop the required store elements (e.g., Featured Products, Cart, Collection) onto your page.

    Locale-Based Currency Formatting

Store prices now display in locally appropriate formats — like $1,000.00 in the US or €1.000,00 in Europe — based on the visitor’s location and the page language you set.

Enable it in Store Settings > Locale-Based Currency Formatting, then set your Page Language under SEO & AI Search Optimization in the Builder.

Note: This is a display formatting feature only — it does not convert currencies based on exchange rates.

    Online Listings

Set Holiday Hours Directly in FG Funnels

No more switching to Google to update your holiday hours. You can now manage them right inside FG Funnels — mark days as Closed or Split Open, add custom time intervals, and sync to your Google Business Profile automatically.

    How It Works:

    • Navigate to Reputation > GBP Optimization > Overview
    • Scroll to the Holiday Hours section
    • Click + Add
    • Select a date, choose Closed or Split Open
    • For Split Open, add one or more time intervals
    • Save — changes sync to Google Business Profile automatically

    WordPress

AI Pages — Live Color Previews, Image Regeneration & More Layouts

Three solid upgrades landed for AI-generated WordPress pages this week.

Live color palette preview — As you browse palettes in the Styles panel, the page updates in real time. No more apply-check-undo guessing. Changes only save when you click Update Page.

Regenerate specific images — Hover over any AI-generated image and click Regenerate Image. Write a short prompt, preview the result, and insert it. No need to rebuild the whole page.

More section variants — More layout and content style options for testimonials, services, FAQs, and hero banners. Mix and match to build pages that feel like yours.

Find it at: Sites > WordPress > Pages > AI Generated Pages

    How to Use It:

    Live Preview for Color Palettes

    1. Open your AI-generated page and click Customizations.
    2. Switch to the Styles tab.
    3. Browse available color palettes. The page preview updates in real time as you hover or select a palette.
    4. Click Update Page to apply your chosen palette.

    Regenerating an Image

    1. Open the page in the Customizations Content panel.
    2. Hover over the image you want to change and click Regenerate Image.
    3. In the Generate Custom Image dialog, describe your vision (style, lighting, subject).
    4. Click Generate Image and review the live preview. Use Regenerate to try again if needed.
    5. Click Insert Image to place it on the page.
    6. Click Save Changes to finalize.

    Conversations

    ID-Based Search Now Supported

You can now search by ID across Conversations, Snippets, and Links. If you regularly work with IDs — or you’re a developer building on the platform — finding specific records just got a lot faster.

    Workflows

    Drag and Drop Workflow Nodes

This is a big one. You can now drag and move nodes directly on the workflow canvas — no more right-clicking and stepping through menus to reorganize. Hover over any node to reveal the drag handle, then drop it wherever the “Move here” indicator appears.

    How to use it:

    1. Hover over a node to reveal the 6-dot drag handle.
    2. Click and hold the handle, then drag the node to a new location.
    3. Drop it where you see the “Move here” indicator.

AI Agent Now Has Full Conversation History

The AI Agent action can now pull a contact’s full messaging history across channels — SMS, Email, WhatsApp, Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and more. No setup required.

In practice: if a contact emailed about a quote Monday, followed up on Instagram Wednesday, then texted Friday — the agent walks into that Friday conversation fully caught up. It knows what was discussed and where things left off.

Custom Date Reminders Now Work Across More Record Types

Custom date reminder triggers now support Opportunity, Custom Object, and Company date fields — not just Contacts. Trigger workflows based on a deal close date, contract expiry, or any custom date field on a record.

    How to use it:

    1. Create or open a workflow for Contacts, Custom Objects, or Companies.
    2. Choose a custom date reminder trigger and select the supported date field for that workflow type.
    3. Set the timing for when the workflow should run before, on, or after that date.

    Inbound Email Trigger for Workflows

You can now start a workflow the moment an inbound email lands in your mailbox — including cold emails from people who aren’t in your CRM yet. Automate lead capture, inbox routing, support intake, and first-touch responses the second an email arrives.

Filters available: mailbox, sender, CC, subject, body, attachments, and workflow reply source. There’s also a setting to trigger only on new conversations, so you’re not re-firing on every reply in a thread.

    How to use it:

    1. Go to Automations > Workflows > Add Trigger and add the Inbound Email trigger.
    2. Add filters based on mailbox, sender, subject, body, attachments, or workflow reply source.
    3. Save the trigger, then add actions like create contact, assign, tag, notify, or reply.

Note: Full cold inbound capture is supported for LC Email and Mailgun dedicated domains. Gmail/Outlook two-way sync supports emails from existing contacts only.

MCP Connections in AI Agent Action

The AI Agent action now supports MCP (Model Context Protocol) connections — giving your agent real-time access to external tools like search engines, browsers, databases, and APIs directly inside a workflow.

Supported out of the box: Exa (AI-powered web search), Tavily (real-time search and extraction), and Browserbase (full browser automation) — plus any custom MCP server your team builds.

    How to Use:

    1. Open the AI Agent node in your workflow.
    2. Click Add Tools and go to the MCP tab.
    3. Click Add Connection and configure: Connection Name, Server URL, Transport Type (HTTP Streamable), and Auth Type.
    4. Hit Test Connection to see the tools the server offers.
    5. Select which tools the agent can use, then save.

Apify Integration — Web Scraping Inside Workflows

FG Funnels now connects natively with Apify. Run scraping jobs and process external data directly inside workflows — no webhooks, no third-party connectors required.

Triggers: Fire a workflow when an Apify actor or task run completes.

Actions: Run tasks, run actors, scrape a single URL, fetch dataset items, find the latest run.

Connect via Settings > Integrations > Apify, or search “Apify” directly inside the Workflow builder.

    External Tracking

Automatic Third-Party Form Capture — Zero Setup

FG Funnels can now automatically capture submissions from third-party forms embedded on your website. WPForms, Gravity Forms, custom HTML forms, no-code builders — if it’s on your site, it’s captured.

    What you get automatically:

    • Real-time form submission capture
    • Contact creation or update
    • UTM and attribution tracking
    • Multiple forms on the same page handled independently

Just install the tracking script on your website. That’s it.

    Email Builder

Attach Files from Your Media Library

When setting up an email action in a workflow, you can now attach files directly from your Media Library — no need to re-upload the same file every time. You can also upload new files on the spot if needed.

    How to Use:

    • Go to your Workflow or Email Action
    • Open the Send Email Action settings
    • Scroll to the Attachments section
    • Choose one of the following:

Select from Media Library → Pick an existing file

Upload from Device → Add a new file from your system

    • Save your email action and publish the workflow

    Contacts

Smart List UI Revamp — Now in Labs

The Manage Smart Lists page inside Contacts has been fully redesigned with a cleaner, more modern layout. It’s the last page in the contacts module to get the upgrade — so the whole module now feels consistent.

Enable it in Labs to try it early.

    Forms, Surveys & Quizzes

    New Default Theme

Forms, surveys, and quizzes now have a refreshed default look right out of the box — cleaner fonts, better spacing, rounded inputs, and a more polished overall feel.

Key improvements include better file upload fields with visible size limits and supported file types, a more polished payment component, smarter date and signature placeholder handling, and improved empty states throughout.

You’ll see these updates automatically when creating new forms or editing existing ones.

    Courses

    Funnels Inside Courses

Course creators can now add funnels as lessons within a course. Embed forms, CTAs, upsells, and multi-step flows directly inside the learning experience — without rebuilding your funnels from scratch. Learners see the funnel inline with the option to go full screen.

    Rolling out via Labs.

    How to do it:

    1. Click on Add Content in any module or sub-module.
    2. Enter a funnel title, choose the funnel, and select a specific page.
    3. Add the funnel to the lesson.
    4. Use the funnel edit modal to preview the funnel, make edits, add page thumbnails, and save & publish like any other lesson.

Live Sessions — Teach Live, Right Inside Your Course

Courses now supports live sessions built directly into the course experience — one-time or recurring. Schedule, host, manage recordings, and send learner notifications all from one place.

    • Recurring sessions with daily, weekly, and custom patterns (timezone-aware)
    • Go Live button activates 15 minutes before start time
    • Recordings accessible after sessions end and can be added back as course lessons
    • Learners get a dedicated Live Sessions section inside their enrolled course

Enable via Labs — feature name: Courses Live Sessions.

Tax Support for Course Offer Checkout

Courses checkout now calculates taxes automatically based on billing address, shows a clear tax breakdown before payment, and supports both tax-inclusive and tax-exclusive pricing. Coupon codes still work alongside tax calculations.

To get started: add your nexus addresses in Payments Settings, configure tax rules and categories, and confirm your business address is correct.

Learner Experience Controls & Lesson Enhancements

A set of quality-of-life upgrades that make the course experience smoother for learners and easier to manage for creators.

    • Videos autoplay when a lesson opens
    • An “Up Next” card appears inside the player with a countdown and Play Now button
    • Lessons auto-complete based on meaningful progress
    • Text lessons auto-complete when learners navigate forward
    • Creators can set Auto-Start, Auto-Play, and Auto-Complete per course — or apply to all courses at once

These are on by default. Creators can customize at the course level.

    Agent Logs

    Agent Logs Metrics Dashboard

AI Agent performance now has a command center. The new Metrics tab in Agent Logs gives you a fully customizable, real-time dashboard to track what your agents are actually doing.

    What you can track:

    • Conversations handled, AI messages sent, average messages per conversation
    • Average response time and top agents by volume
    • Which workflow nodes are used most and their execution latency
    • Busiest hours and channel activity over time

The dashboard is fully flexible — add, remove, resize, and rearrange widgets. Save multiple layouts for different views. Set auto-refresh to 30s, 1m, 5m, or 15m.

    Affiliate Manager

Pay Per Sale for Forms, Surveys & Calendars

Affiliate commissions can now be tied to actual revenue — not just lead submissions. When setting up campaigns for Forms, Surveys, or Calendars, choose between Pay Per Lead and Pay Per Sale.

Pay Per Sale supports flat amounts or percentage-based commissions and tracks revenue when a contact submits via an affiliate link and completes a purchase within the tracking window.

Note: For Calendar, Pay Per Sale only applies when payment is enabled on the calendar.

    Communities

Personal Meeting Links & Recordings Hub

Two big additions to live sessions in Communities:

Personal Meeting Link — One dedicated, branded URL for all your sessions. Share it once and use it for every call, event, or recurring meeting. No more creating a new link every time.

Recordings Hub — Every live session is automatically saved. Watch, download, or delete from one central place. Build a library for training and onboarding.

Improved noise cancellation is also included for cleaner, more professional-sounding audio.

    Schema Markup

    Delete Flow for Schema Markup

You can now delete schema markup directly from any page in the Website or Funnel Builder — one schema at a time, or all at once.

Three ways to do it: Form View, JSON View, or through AI chat (just say “remove all schema markup from this page”). Deletion is confirmation-backed, and anything deleted by mistake can be recovered through page version history.

    How to Use:

Access: Website/Funnel Builder → Edit Page → SEO & AI search optimization (left panel) → Schema Markup

Method 1 — Delete from Form View:

Open the Add/Edit Schema pop-up and stay in Form View

In the Schemas list (left panel), click the three-dot menu next to the schema you want to remove

Select Delete to remove that specific schema

To delete all schemas, remove each one from the list, then click Validate & Save

    • Confirm on the “Delete all schema markup?” prompt → Click Yes, Delete

Method 2 — Delete from JSON View:

Open the Add/Edit Schema pop-up and switch to JSON View

Clear the JSON-LD code (remove all schema markup code from the editor)

    Click Validate & Save

    • Confirm on the “Delete all schema markup?” prompt → Click Yes, Delete

Method 3 — Delete via AI Chat:

    • Open Ask AI, Funnel AI, or Schema Markup AI
    • Send a prompt such as “remove all schema markup from this page” or “delete the Organization schema”
    • AI reviews existing schema, evaluates the request, and removes the targeted schema(s)
    • Confirmation appears in-chat with a link to View schema markup

Recovery Option — Restore Deleted Schema via Version History

If schema markup is deleted by mistake, it can be recovered using the page’s version history:

    • Open the page in the Website/Funnel Builder
    • Access Version History from the builder toolbar
    • Restore a previous version of the page that contained the schema markup
    • Open the Schema Markup editor → switch to JSON View → copy the JSON-LD script
    • Return to the latest version of the page → open Schema Markup → JSON View → paste the copied script
      • Click Validate & Save and publish the page

    Notes

    • Deletion is page-specific — it only affects the page you’re editing
    • Deletion is not truly irreversible — schema can be recovered via version history by restoring a previous version and copying the JSON script forward (see Recovery Option above)
    • Changes reflect in preview immediately after saving, but go live only on publish
