Reporting
Live – Google Analytics 4
Introduced the support for Google Analytics 4 (GA4), the latest version of Google Analytics. GA4 provides enhanced event-tracking capabilities and an advanced view of user behavior across different platforms.
GHL has introduced an enhancement to track GA4 events with the measurement-id and API secret which means that users can now use GA4 tracking with their CRM accounts. This will allow them to track and analyze user behavior and engagement across different channels, including their website, mobile app, and social media platforms.
Steps to set up GA4 in Workflows:
In your Google Analytics Workflow, select the action ‘Add to Google Analytics.’ A new dropdown value under ‘Action Type’ has been introduced by the name ‘Google Analytics 4’; select this from the dropdown.
Go to your Google Analytics account and fetch the measurement-id from Admin ➝ Account Settings ➝ Data Stream ➝ Select the Data Stream. Copy and paste the Measurement ID for your desired Data Stream.
Add the event name that you wish to track. This event name will show-up under the Google Analytics ➝ Reports ➝ Engagement ➝ Events along with other standard events that are set-up.
Add the API secret by navigating to your Google Analytics account Admin ➝ Account Settings ➝ Data Stream ➝ Select the Data Stream ➝ Measurement Protocol API secrets.
Save and Publish your workflow.
Facebook Integration
Flow Improvements
If a user has access to multiple Facebook pages, during their first integration with a sub-account, all the pages will be selected in the Facebook OAuth flow by default. This helps us maintain the access token for subsequent integrations made by the user & makes the overall connection stable & reliable. However, the user has the ability to unselect specific pages if they want to.
From the second sub-account integration onwards the user doesn’t have to go through the OAuth flow & is directly landed on the select page screen from our side. Making it a more seamless experience.
Previously, the user had to manually select a page they would like to connect with a sub-account from the list of all pages they have access to. This led to users unselecting pages which were previously connected by mistake and impacted integration getting expired across all the sub-accounts. To resolve this, users had to connect with their FB pages with all the sub-accounts again.
With this release, users will stop facing connection drops making it more stable and an overall better user experience.
Coming Next Week: New FG Funnels™ University!
Starting next week, you will have access to the new FGF University in the lefthand menu of your account, right where you already access the current FGFU.
We won’t be removing the current FGFU right away so you will still have access to it for the time being. However, we will no longer be updating the Teachable version and will be posting all updated tutorials in the our new membership area going forward.
Here are some of the fun new features we’re excited about in the new FGFU:
It’s hosted in FG Funnels™!
There is now a search feature! This is one of the many we reasons we love the membership area inside FG Funnels™. You can find the search option in the upper-right corner while logged in to the membership area.
We’ve added a Glossary of common terms you’ll see throughout our tutorials and hear in our live office hour calls.
Coming Soon To Workflows
You may have noticed new Premium actions appearing in the menu within Workflows. These will be available to use in your account very soon! In the meantime, check out a sneak peek of what’s coming:

These are advanced options available soon in the Workflow builder that allow you to connect to an external system or software and execute complex actions within a workflow that have not been possible before.

What are the triggers and actions that are included in the premium bundle?

Whenever an event occurs in the external system, you can trigger a workflow in your CRM by sending an HTTP POST request to a specific URL associated with the trigger. This real-time data transfer capability enhances the functionality of your CRM by allowing it to integrate seamlessly with other systems.
Google Sheets Premium Action
Using workflows, you will be able easily send, update, lookup, or delete rows in your Google Sheets documents. This provides you with a range of options for managing your data within your sheets, depending on your specific needs.
Also will support FORMULAS and spreadsheet functions to insert or update a row. Helpful in tracking relevant metrics like SUM, AVG etc.
Slack Premium Action
Workflow Slack Premium Action will allow users to send automated messages to their Slack channels and users. This feature streamlines communication by enabling users to set up and schedule notifications for themselves, specific users, and channels.
Custom Outbound Webhook
Just like how Inbound Webhook Premium Trigger brings IN data from outside of FG Funnels™, the Custom Outbound Webhook SENDS data FROM FGF to the outside world. The request you send is completely configurable — starting from the data you send, to the headers, and params.
Pricing: $0.03/execution on all premium workflow triggers and webhooks. Each account also receives 100 free executions to test the features out.
