FG Funnels Updates – August 1st, 2024

Email Builder

Direct Checkout for Product Elements

Users can now generate direct payment links and customize the checkout page for each product within the same campaign. Purchases are automatically updated in conversion and campaign statistics.

How to Use:

  1. Navigate to the email marketing section.
  2. Create a new email campaign.
  3. Add a product element and select direct checkout.

  1. Click the link icon next to the product to customize the checkout page.
  2. Modify the checkout page layout and save your changes.

  1. Send a test email to ensure everything is working correctly.

 

UTM Parameters

You can now set default UTM parameters in the Email Builder settings, automatically applying them to all your campaigns. You also have the option to disable UTM tracking for specific campaigns if needed.

How to Use:

  1. Navigate to Email Marketing: Access the Email Marketing section of your platform.
  2. Access Settings: Click on the Settings page under Email Campaign.
  3. Review Tracking Options: Select the Tracking option to view and adjust the default UTM parameters.

  1. Enable Default UTM Parameters: Toggle the switch to apply UTM parameters by default to all campaigns.
  2. Edit Default Values: Adjust the values for utm_medium or utm_campaign as needed.
  3. Add Custom Parameters: Click on Add Custom Parameter to include additional parameters and their values.
  4. Select Parameters: Check the boxes for the UTM parameters you want to add to your campaigns.
  5. Save Changes: Click Save to apply your updated settings.
  6. Disable for Specific Campaigns: To exclude UTM parameters from a specific campaign, turn off tracking on the Send or Schedule page.

Funnels & Websites

Live Site URL and Domain Connect In The Builder

Users can now easily view the live site URL directly from the page they are working on within the funnel/website builder interface. If your domain is not yet connected to the funnel, you can now effortlessly connect it using the new “Connect Domain” button.

How to Use:

  1. Live Site URL: While editing your funnel or website in the builder, you will now see the live site URL displayed directly within the builder interface.
  2. Connect Domain: If a domain is not connected, simply click the “Connect Domain” button and follow the prompts to link your domain to your funnel/website.

Payments

PayPal Pay Later Live For Order Forms And Online Stores

PayPal Pay Later is now available as a payment method to customers checking out via order forms and online stores. This is applicable for both 1-step and 2-step order forms, upsell purchases, and one-time purchases. This feature is not available for recurring products at this time.

The Pay Later button will be displayed right below the PayPal button during checkout.

Auto-payment On Payment Schedules In Invoices

You can now enable auto payments on invoices that are sent with a Payment Schedule.

Key Highlights:

  • Automate payments for invoices with scheduled payment plans.
  • While clicking on send for invoice, enable auto-payments
  • Start charging automatically for subsequent payments on scheduled payment dates

How to Use:

 Enable auto-payments while sending your invoice which have a payment schedule.

 

Making COD and Manual Payment Methods

Users can now set up COD and Manual Payment Methods independently, without needing to set up an online payment method. This enhancement removes the previous requirement of configuring an online payment method to access Manual Payment Methods.

Important Notes:

  • To configure existing accounts for COD-only stores, users need to disconnect the default payment provider and retain only manual payment methods.
  • COD and Manual Payment Methods will not be supported for Recurring Products

 

Workflows

New Workflow Action: Log External Call to CRM 

We have a new workflow action that allows you to log external calls to the CRM using workflows. To log any external call, you can trigger the workflow using the “Inbound Webhook Trigger” and configure the “Log External Call” action, and pass all the call details and call recording.

Call direction, phone number of the receiver for inbound calls and the phone number of the dialer for outbound calls are mandatory. The call will be displayed in the conversations section of the contact.

Twilio Validation Error Trigger Is now Number Validation

We have made few changes to the Twilio Validation Error trigger. The trigger is renamed as “Number Validation”.

Affiliate Manager

Toggle to Enroll New Customers as Sub Affiliates

Users can decide if they want to automatically enroll new customers as sub affiliates under the affiliate who brought them in after a successful sale.

There’s now a toggle in campaign settings under “Additional Settings” to enable or disable the auto-enrollment of new customers as sub affiliates. The same toggle can be configured in global settings, which will apply to all future campaigns you create.

How It Works:

  1. Go to the Sub Account Affiliate Manager.
  2. Click on an existing campaign or create a new one.
  3. At the last step, expand “Additional Settings.”
  4. Configure the toggle for “Auto Enroll” New Customers as Sub Affiliates.”
  5. Save and publish your changes.

 

Affiliate Level Commission Settings

Now you can set custom commission rates and override campaign-level commission settings for individual affiliates within a campaign.

How It Works:

  1. Go to the Sub Account Affiliate Manager.
  2. Navigate to the Affiliate Page and select the affiliate.
  3. Scroll down to the “Active Referral Link” section and click on “Customize” for the campaign where you want to configure the commission settings.
  4. Switch to the “Commissions” tab.
  5. Configure the affiliate level commissions.
  6. Save your changes.

Important Notes:

  1. Affiliate level commission settings will always take precedence over campaign-level settings for commission calculation.
  2. Users cannot change tiers in the affiliate profile settings. The tier dropdown will be disabled; changes must be made in campaign settings.
  3. Currently, only affiliate campaigns where the source is a funnel or website support this feature.

 

Calendars

Calendly Event Importer

Connect your Calendly events with FGF via our direct integration! With this integration, each new Calendly event will be imported into FGF , enabling you to take immediate actions and fully leverage our capabilities.

How to Use?

To connect your Calendly account, follow these simple steps:

  1. Navigate to ‘Calendars’ > ‘Calendar Settings’ > ‘Connections.’
  2. Click on ‘Add New.’
  3. Choose ‘Calendly’ and click ‘Connect.’
  4. Complete the authentication process by signing into your Calendly account and granting the necessary access.
  5. Once your Calendly account is successfully connected, select the calendars from which you want to import events.
  6. Give consent to import your events by checking the consent box and clicking ‘Save.’
  7. Your integration is now set up and ready to use.

Please Note:

Only events created in the selected calendars after the integration was set up will be imported into the system.

 

LC Phone

SMS Restriction History & Enhancements

Now you can keep track of any adverse actions on SMS sending, i.e. keyword violations and temporary restrictions under Location > Settings > Phone numbers > Advanced settings > Restriction history. Restriction History is available from 7/29/24.

Enhancements 

  • Number purchase flow now supports blank space and special characters
  • Previously, if you called someone belonging to a location that was disabled, the call would get disconnected without any feedback. Now you will hear a voice describing the issue and the solution along with a tooltip on the UI.
  • Recordings and transcriptions should now appear faster

Bugs

  • SMS limit would sometimes not level up for users (ramp up model). This should now level up as expected
  • ‘PR’ now shows up as a US state instead of a country

Right Sidebar Revamp

Introducing a revamped Right Sidebar, designed to enhance user experience by providing better and easier access to different styles and options.

Key Enhancement:

  • New Padding Element: For Easier control of padding
  • New Editor for Custom CSS: New editor which will make writing css style easier and prettier
  • Enhanced Navigation: Intuitive layout with collapsible sections for easier access.
  • Quick Access: Frequent styles group together for faster access.
  • Simple and Sweet: User-friendly design with a clean and intuitive interface.

How to Use:

  1. Open the Form Builder under Sites>Forms>Builder.
  2. Click on Right Sidebar
  3. Section wise settings and advanced Settings

 

 

Shopify

Shopify Integration Health

We have added new information inside the integrations page called “Shopify Integration Health”. This will allow users to check if something is wrong with the integration and possible solutions for it.

 

Blogs

New elements

Blog Site Builder now supports the following elements:

  • Custom Code – Add your custom code footer, headers and other elements to share between funnels, websites and blogs using Saved Sections
  • SVG – Add any SVGs to your blog builder
  • Map –  Add map inside the landing page to reflect specific locations
