A white label provider for High Level is closing and leaving their users scrambling…this is a quick cautionary tale.

The company Clixlo, sold a lifetime deal of their version of High Level for $497 and acquired hundreds of customers. Now they are closing shop and this means all their users must find a solution quickly.

The owners are encouraging them to go directly to High Level (on the $97/m plan). High Level is offering a three month 33% off to try to help customers who feel screwed over by the Clixlo company.

The moral of the story?

BEWARE OF ANY ROBUST MARKETING AUTOMATION SOFTWARE THAT CHARGES A “LIFETIME” RATE.

This is 100% not a sustainable business model and it’s done when the owners are running with short term thinking at the wheel. It’s against High Level’s terms of service. It’s a cash grab.

Don’t fall for it.

More often than not they can’t make the numbers work and they close up shop.

Clixlo is now dealing with a mob of angry (and rightfully so) customers who feel angry they paid $500 only to have their accounts shut down unless they move to High Level directly.

High Level is the strongest most robust marketing automation platform on the planet. There is no doubt. However, going through a White Label Provider, you want to keep a few things in mind.

1. You want to make sure whatever white label provider you’re using… they are in it for the LONG GAME.
2. Look for white label providers who invest in support and infrastructure.
3. Look for white label providers that charge a monthly fee, no lifetime rates allowed.
4. Look for a white label provider with a strong reputation.

Otherwise you might find yourself in the same position as all of Clixlio’s customers.
